Throughout my life, I’ve always had a passion for helping people. Whether it is friends, co-workers or acquaintances, I find it most rewarding being a part of the process and helping them to find solutions during difficult or uneasy moments. What I also observed was that people were naturally drawn to and seemed very comfortable sharing their concerns with me. I was always told that I was very understanding, compassionate and helpful. Beyond having an extreme interest in psychology, I particularly enjoy the creative aspects of the subject.
One day I came to realize that the world was much larger than my surroundings and there were many people that I felt I could help. I then decided to develop my passion further and began on my journey to find the best schools and programs. After endless hours of researching a variety of programs at Universities, Colleges, Private Schools and other institutes, I found a common denominator in almost all of them that I felt was missing. Most programs were simply based on studying other people and their behaviors. I am a strong believer that in order to help anyone on a very deep level, a good therapist must be comfortable with and able to delve into and unpeel the layers of their own personality first. In other words, I wanted to be challenged in ways that most schools didn’t seem to offer in their programs.
The good news is that through many hours of research, I found a school and program that offered exactly what I was looking for combined with a solid curriculum in the areas of psychology. I enrolled in Transformational Arts College of Canada and was very thankful that I made that choice. The program was very intense and I can honestly say that my knowledge and understanding of both myself and learning to become a therapist grew exponentially. Through many long hours of study and experiential learning, I received a diploma in spiritual psychotherapy. The biggest asset I attained from the school was a very deep understanding of what unique skills I am able to bring to my therapy practice. In my view, this could only have been accomplished through the challenges of that program.
I am a very attentive, understanding and compassionate person that offers a very honest and objective perspective to a wide variety of situations. I am able to quickly help you to determine the core issues that interfere in your growth. My goal is to assist in re establishing the fundamental aspects to promote a healthier and happier life.

Relationship and Marriage Counselling in Toronto

Every person and situation is different and requires individual attention, thus my problem solving skills has consistently been one of my greatest assets. I strongly believe that all healing is derived from truth. Sharing with people what I honestly observed rather than simply telling them what they anticipated to hear has proven to be most influential in their process. Though I always enjoyed being a good friend, I never considered the possibility of expanding it into a career.

Couples and Marriage Counselling
I began my private practice as a therapist and life coach where I was able to assist individuals with a variety of concerns. Self esteem, loss/grief and depression are some examples of what I was helping clients with. After several months, one observation I made was how often my clients talked about their relationships or marriages and how much time they devoted around the subject during therapy.
I once again realized that I had another hidden passion which was to incorporate marriage counselling into my existing practice. Since then, I have devoted a lot of my studies into the subject and my practice has grown and developed quite rapidly since choosing to help couples. Despite the unfortunate reasons that brought them to therapy, I am always able to help them to adjust their focus on the positive aspects of their situation. The therapy focuses on communication, underlying conflicts and emphasizes on the growth in the relationship in order to help to rediscover happiness. Helping my clients to seek out their own individuality is the key to resolution.
My goal is to help my clients to resolve and alleviate their concerns in the least amount of time as possible.
