I will be sure to leave time for you to ask any questions that you may have, so that you can get to know my approach and how I work.
I feel that it’s important for you to feel comfortable while working with a therapist. During sessions, many personal issues will surface and the process is much easier when you are in a comfortable setting.
Before making any commitment to therapy, I offer a free twenty minute phone consultation or a discounted in-person session for first time clients. I will start off with an assessment to get to know you and what you are facing. I will ask you questions such as “what brings you to therapy?”, “What are some areas of stress that you are facing at the moment?” or “What are some goals that you wish to achieve?”. Some questions may be related to your past and if you ever went to see a therapist before.
